Girls are instructed to wear undergarments, a swimsuit, or a leotard under their clothing. There is also a partition available for girls who require more privacy.

We use disposable combs, and a comb is never used on more than one girl. The combs are disinfected between each use with Barbicide, the same solution used in professional beauty salons.

There are plenty of things going on simultaneously at a Sparkles Party and things move rather quickly as your daughter travels from one activity to the next. While your daughter is waiting for the make-over, she may be making her own princess crown; coloring a princess picture (for our younger partygoers); or selecting which princess gown she wants. She'll also have to take time to choose the colors she wants for her make-over, i.e.: eye shadow, lip gloss, and body crayon.

Yes we do! During the princess parade the birthday girl gets to be the leader of the parade. Instead of single rose, she receives an entire bouquet to carry. In addition, she is draped in a birthday princess sash. She gets to choose a special gift from the Sparkles birthday box.

We apply only lead-free products, which children across the country enjoy. We use eye shadow, lip gloss, nail polish and body crayon. These are the products applied to the skin. If you feel that your child will have a reaction, simply alert the Sparkles staff and they will not apply the skin products. We'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to your child's delicate skin.

Make-up is only one small part of a Sparkles party. She'll still be getting her nails and hair done, making and wearing the crown; wearing the gown; etc, so chances are good that she won't feel left out. Explaining the situation to your daughter beforehand will also help.

It is best to serve food and drinks and open gifts after we leave. Since the gowns are very special, we cannot allow children to eat or drink while they are wearing them.

We charge $150 for up to 6 girls. Each additional girl is $25. This includes make-up and nail polish application, princess hairdo, crafty crown, dressing up in an original Sparkles princess gown and participating in the princess parade. Price includes a goody bag (see next question) for each girl.

An "I got Sparkled!" T-shirt, temporary Sparkles princess tattoos, Sparkles princess stickers, nail polish and lip gloss.

Yes! Once the girls are transformed into princesses they will march in the princess parade. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to photograph or videotape their little girls. There is also plenty of time for group photos, and we even have silk flowers.
